My life was really great before Nuvaring, it gave me post traumatic stress disorder, I had to go to about 8 different kinds of doctors some of the top ones in NY. Even got two brain scans, everything was normal. I felt like I was having a heart attack everyday. I started developing panic attacks and migraines. It caused me lots of pain and fear of leaving the house and doing normal things. Basically had no control over my emotions. No one believed me at first it was my birth control until I went to a Psychiatrist who said that she had seen birth control cause this in other patients she had had. Two weeks later I was off Nuvaring and the anxiety and migraines dwindled. My life basically was on a 6 months standstill, I barely was able to finish grad school. I still suffer from the panic attacks on occasion and have trouble sleeping.
