My doctor prescribed me dexilant ( 60 mg / daily ) for a month because of acid reflux. About 7-10 days into the treatment, I was feeling really bad on the right side of my stomach. I tried to think what it could be associated to... nothing in my diet had changed or nothing in my environment had changed, except for the PILLS. On day 14 of taking those dexilant pills, I felt like my appendix was about to blow up ! That is when I decided to stop them. In the days to come, the pain went away. To me it is clear that the pain I experience was directly related to those pills.
