Two days ago, I was prescribed a single daily dose of Altiazem 60mg as replacement for Nevilob 5. Was also put on Cardura for a single daily tablet. Both have been added to Zestril 20mg.
My pulse rate has shot up to 88 though it has always been in the 65-70 range.
I am 67 years old with chronic hypertension and Type-2 diabetes, neither of which has ever come under real control. For the latter, I am put on twice-a-day Humulin 70/30 Insulin.
Now I am very disturbed by the pulse rate going that up.
Am not sure whether it is the Altiazem or the combination of 3 anti-hypertensives which sent pulse up. But the proximity between Altiazem dosage time and pulse acceleration suggests a correlation.
Appreciate if this web page or any of its surfers can provide some explanation. Thanks in anticipation.
