Lovan is not for everyone as we all take to medications differently. Lovan is a newer Anti-Depressant. A newer form of Efexor. They have worked on the newer version to limit the amount of side effects that is felt on the Efexor. I have to say that i have taken Efexor and apart from a lowered sex drive and night sweats i felt alot better than not taking them. I had my energy and somewhat happier than before. I thought it was time for me to stop taking them as some people do get away with a course of them and then wean down to come off them, as i did and felt ok for about a year. At the time i was ok to have taken them for seven and a half years and thought i would be ok to try with them in my life. I had severe night sweats and was sick of that too. I came off them and after a year needed to go back on them and was put on a few different after that. My doctor suggested Lovan and i agreed to 20mg. Been on them now for a year and a half and i have NO sex drive and am back to sweating..This is one difficult time to deal with having i am in a realtionship with them man i love to pieces! It has taken its toll. Apart from those couple of things i cant see any other problem with them, not that i am aware of, The key is to stay busy during your day and eat every few hours and healthy foods at that. Still treat yourself but it really is working yourself with the medication on the days you feel right to do. They do help but they will never cure Depression of any kind..I have been on medication for 16years now and its an everyday battle to keep on track. What do we do really..it helps and i guess until something is found with no side effects we just have to go with it..
