I took Fumaderm for about a year and it was the only thing in all of the 50 years I have suffered with Psoriasis to clear it. However, I was taken ill with a bowel complaint and was very ill and weak for several months. The Doc told me not to take Fumaderm while suffering with the bowel upset. My Psoriasis stayed away! I then developed terrible lumps on my left leg which made my leg very sore and swollen. I was then prescribed Hydroxychoroquine for my leg. The leg improved but my Psoriasis has returned with a vengeance, I saw a Specialist today and asked for Fumederm again but he told me that I was probably that which caused the bowel problem and I cannot have it again. I was never told this by any other Doctor despite seeing Bowel and Stomach Specialists. Also I cannot have the Hydroxychoroquine as it is causing the Psoriasis to return. I am now back to square one using creams and ointment for my skin which have never worked anyway.
